Commission Artwork from Anthony Le
Commissions are a fun way for me to work with collectors — whether it’s a bold portrait or something entirely unique. Here’s how the process works:
Start A Commission Request
Email AnthonyLeArt@gmail.com with a description of what you have in mind. To give you an accurate estimate, please include:
- Goal: What the piece is for?
- Budget: What’s your target budget range? I generally charge in 50% payments, but a payment plan can be set up. Note that shipping costs will be paid by client separately.
- Timeline: When you need it by?
- Size: Dimensions or scale you’re envisioning. The size is usually determined by the budget.
- Reference images: Please share anything that captures the style, subject, or mood you’re after, even better if you can reference past works of mine as a starting point.
Goal, budget, and timeline are the biggest factors in my decision process — the more detail you give me here, the faster and more accurate your estimate will be.
Commission Process
1. Estimate
I’ll respond with a price estimate based on the size of the work, goal and timeline.
2. Agreement
Once we agree on the estimate, we’ll both sign a commission agreement outlining the final details, so everyone’s on the same page before work begins.
3. Concepts
I’ll invoice for 50% upfront. Once paid, I will begin developing concepts such as drawings, paintings, or digital collage, depending on the piece. You’ll receive up to 2 concepts to review, with up to 2 rounds of edits.
4. Final artwork
Once a concept is approved, I’ll complete the commission and send photos of the finished piece for your review (1 round of edits included). After your approval, I’ll invoice the remaining 50%. I’ll invoice for shipping costs separately if needed.
Note: Any additional edits beyond what’s outlined above will require a new estimate, agreed upon in an updated document, before that work begins.

Past Commissions
“Anthony Le was great to work with on a custom commission. I wanted a colorful and joyful drawing of a culturally significant and inspirational figure to hang in my son’s room. Our family will absolutely cherish this piece.
