Where do you find warmth during the cold of quarantine? For “Hearth Home,” I aimed to contrast the cool blues of isolation with the warmth of a fireplace hearth, symbolizing my new marriage with my partner and fellow artist Ashley Jaye Williams. The work also takes inspiration from the many reclining nudes in art history.
