Vagabond

I am the co-creator of Vagabond with Philippa Hughes. Our first project is an art zine featuring  interviews with 13 Vietnamese visual artists, musicians, poets and writers. Each artist was also commissioned to write a letter to their younger selves as an act of self-love. For our second project, Vagabond presents “50 Years of Hope and Ha-has,” the DMV’s first Vietnamese American art exhibition. The exhibition features works by 18 artists and four zine collectives.

I work in painting, sculpture, printmaking, performance, writing and video.

COMMISSION REVIEW

“Anthony Le was great to work with on a custom commission. I wanted a colorful and joyful drawing of a culturally significant and inspirational figure to hang in my son’s room. Our family will absolutely cherish this piece.
