“Reflective” expresses the joy of biking with a friend as an alternative form of transportation. There’s a juxtaposition between the traffic on the right side and the freedom and movement of the cyclists. The car exhaust forms a black cat figure that refers to my lucky cat series and is a metaphor for climate change. The painting also has reflective vinyl in multiple areas that highlights the theme of safety.
