The Hypocrisy of Fin DAC’s Asian Cultural Appropriation Vlog

Fin DAC, white street artist, paints many images of Asian women and said an interview with the Korea Times:

“My decision to focus mainly on the depiction of Asian women was more to do with…a serious lack of positive representation, and…the work I did could counteract or counterbalance overly objectified depictions…”

Yet when an Asian female artist criticizes him for cultural appropriation, he responds with harassment and an empty apology that sidesteps examining his own artwork and the cultural appropriation of Asian women and culture.
